Privacy
Short version: no accounts, no ads, and your pet's details stay on your device.
What stays on your device
To save you retyping, your pet's last weight and unit are stored in your browser's localStorage under the key pmh-pet. It never leaves your device and you can erase it below.
What is sent
Calculators run entirely in your browser. Only when you press "Explain with AI" on the ingredient checker is the pasted text and pet type sent to an AI model via Vercel AI Gateway to produce the explanation. We don't store it. Please don't paste personal information.
Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics tool, to count page views. It does not build advertising profiles.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address) for security.
