What We Collect

• This helps us improve the tools and ensure they're meeting pet owners' needs
• Analytics data is anonymized and aggregated

No User Accounts

• We do NOT require registration or login
• We do NOT collect names, email addresses, or contact information
• We do NOT track individual users across sessions

Where Your Data Lives

Local Storage Only

All calculator history and results are stored exclusively in your browser:

• IndexedDB: Stores your calculation history for quick reference
• localStorage: May store preferences (like unit selection)

Important: This data NEVER leaves your device. It's not sent to our servers or any third party.

Clearing Your Data

You can delete all stored data at any time by:

1. Clearing your browser's local storage
2. Using your browser's "Clear browsing data" feature
3. The data is tied to your browser on your device only

What We DON'T Do

• ❌ We don't share your data with third parties (except anonymized analytics)
• ❌ We don't store your pet's information on our servers
• ❌ We don't require email addresses or accounts

Third-Party Services

Ahrefs Web Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics for understanding site usage:

• No personal data collection
• Anonymized visitor statistics

Vercel Hosting

Our site is hosted on Vercel:

• Standard server logs (IP addresses, request times)
• Used only for security and performance monitoring
• Not used for tracking individual users

URL Sharing Feature

Our calculators include a "Share" button that encodes your calculation results in the URL:

• This allows you to share your specific calculation with others (like your vet)
• The data is encoded in the URL itself - not stored on our servers
• Only share these URLs if you're comfortable with the recipient seeing your calculation
